Day 01           Delhi - Bagdogra to Kaluk

Fly to Bagdogra from Delhi or Kolkata. Arrival at Bagdogra, receive & transfer to Kaluk (145 Km./ 5 Hrs), evening free.

Day 02           Kaluk - Rinchenpong – Kaluk

After breakfast full day excursion to Rinchenpong. Rinchenpong is well known for Kanchenjunga and the mountain is visible (assuming the skies are clear) from almost every part of the town. But Rinchenpong also have other interesting place. Walking is the only option to explore Rinchenpong.

The Rinchenpong Monastery housing the rare idol of Ati Buddha in Yub – yum position was constructed in 1717. But the recorded history of Rinchenpong only dates back to 1860, when the British attacked Siikim. They reached up to Rinchenpong when Lepchas (the original inhabitants of Sikkim) poisoned the water of the pond, the only source of water in Rinchenpong.

Day 03           Kaluk
After breakfast day trip to the village to soak in the nature, later take a short trek to the forest around the resort, back to the resort by evening.

Day 04          Kaluk – Pelling – Yuksum 80kms/3hrs

After breakfast full day drive to Yuksum on the way visiting Pemayangtse Monastery & Rabdanste Ruins (You have to trek for 45minutes to visit this magnificent structure which use to be the Kings Palace), Kanchanzonga falls , Rimbi Falls & Kechuperi Lake.

Day 05           Yuksum

After breakfast Trek for 1.30hrs to this beautiful Dubdi monastery, one of the oldest in Sikkim. Later on in the afternoon visit to the Coronation Ground & Yuksum Holy Lake.

Day 06          Yuksum – Tashiding – Gangtok 150kms/5-6hrs drive

Drive to Gangtok on the way visiting Tashiding Monastery. Check In to the Hotel. Free at MG Mall.

Day 07           Gangtok
Sight Seeing of Gangtok including Enchay, Ranka & Rumtek Monastery.
GANGTOK
At an altitude of 1750m, Gangtok became the state capital in the mid 19^th century and has undergone rapid development since then.The downtown area is dominated by huge government buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. Gangtok is also a resting ground for people traveling to North Sikkim. Surrounded by Monasteries and Orchids, Gangtok is truly a travellers delight.

Day 08          Gangtok – Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir – Gangtok
Breakfast at the hotel and full day excursion to Changu Lake which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives it’s waters from melting snows off the surrounding mountains.  Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the color of the lake’s waters.

Day 09          Gangtok – Lachung 117 kms 6 hours approx.
Breakfast at the hotel in Gangtok and drive to Lachung enroute visiting villages and water falls

Day 10 Lachung – Yumthang – Lachung
Breakfast at the hotel and excursion to Yumthang Valley & back. - The valley of flowers.  Flora, Fauna, Rhododendrons and Primulas and found in abundance.  Yumthang is the summer grazing grounds of the Yaks.  On the way back visit the Sulphur Hot Spring, considered to have medicinal properties.

Day 11  Lachung – Gangtok
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Gangtok. Arrive Gangtok by late evening.

Day 12 Gangtok – Bagdogra or NJP Station.
Drive to Airport at Bagdogra or New Jalpaiguri Station for the onward connection.
